Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- four years of setup or facility support experience
- valid driver’s license and insurability by Indiana University upon hire
- ability to work safely and efficiently
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- knowledge of materials and tools related to job duties
- ability to operate public address and audiovisual equipment including spotlights and projectors
- ability to interpret blueprints or sketches
- ability to use a computer
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- ability to remain stationary and ascend/descend ladders or stairs
- excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- May perform other operational duties related to campus events and functions
- coordinates activities of setup workers and oversees temporary staff
- reads and interprets setup sheets and collaborates with event management on logistics
- supervises setup of various venues including meeting rooms and outdoor areas
- interacts with clients to assess needs and resolve concerns
- participates in post-event cleanup and custodial tasks
- assembles and operates public address and audiovisual equipment
- inspects and reports equipment defects
- maintains equipment and supply inventory
- consults with supervisors to resolve facility and scheduling issues
- trains employees in safety procedures
- drives vehicle as needed
