Job Requirements

- at least 5 years of experience in event planning preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- proven ability to manage multiple events and work under pressure
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- working knowledge of banquet and catering food and beverage services and hotel policies
- high attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- ability to innovate and creatively design event execution
- professional demeanor and customer service focus

Job Duties
- Plan and organize in-house event details for group conferences and catering-only events
- act as liaison between clients and hotel departments ensuring seamless coordination
- lead hotel staff through event delivery process to meet client expectations
- attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) and staff meetings
- maintain detailed and accurate client files and implement trace systems
- focus on revenue generation by retaining clients and maximizing account yield
- detail and upsell event programs including managing space, audio-visual needs, equipment, menus, and decoration themes
- manage billing details including deposits, direct bill applications, credit card authorizations, and coordinate with the accounting department
