Job Description

Our client is a well-established organization specializing in corporate event management, committed to delivering high-quality and memorable experiences for a diverse clientele. Known for their innovative approach to event planning and execution, they focus on webinars, seminars, conferences, and other corporate events that cater to professional development and networking opportunities. This company emphasizes a collaborative work environment, supporting employees to excel in a fast-paced industry while maintaining a strong dedication to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The position offered is temporary to permanent and fully remote, specifically requiring candidates residing on the West Coast. The role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime required to meet business demands and ensure the success of every event.

The Event Planning Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing corporate events from inception to completion. This position demands an individual who is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating both onsite and virtual meetings. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in the event planning field or a related area involving corporate events, demonstrating the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. The coordinator will closely work with sales representatives and internal teams to ensure all commitments—whether they involve logistics, budgeting, or participant engagement—are met on schedule and within budget. Essential responsibilities include maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the meeting planning process, managing daily phone and email support with various stakeholders, and efficiently running reports to keep projects on track. Setting up virtual credit cards for dinner meetings and handling a high volume of calls and program activities are also vital to this position.

As a remote role, this position requires excellent time management skills and adaptability to flexible schedules or extended hours when client business needs demand. Being adept at working in a virtual environment and capable of multitasking under pressure are crucial for success. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled event professional to grow within a supportive and dynamic company, contributing meaningfully to the planning and execution of impactful corporate events. If you have a passion for event coordination and a proven track record of delivering results, this role offers a flexible and rewarding career path with a forward-thinking organization.
