The company emphasizes a culture of caring and personalized service, which distinguishes Hyatt properties worldwide. Hyatt fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees are empowered to develop their careers and deliver outstanding hospitality. The organization’s values—empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing—form the foundation of its commitment to guests and employees alike.

Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa, a new addition to the Hyatt portfolio, is a luxury lifestyle hotel set to open in early 2025. Located in the heart of Mid-beach, Miami, this iconic art-deco building is an architectural landmark poised to become a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers. Featuring 287 guestrooms, including 34 exquisite suites, the resort offers the only ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design blends texture, vibrant colors, and artistic elements to create a unique and captivating atmosphere. Suites boast floor-to-ceiling windows, deep-soaking tubs, cozy reading nooks, and private outdoor terraces with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami skyline. Amenities include a full-service spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a signature dining experience by renowned chef José Andrés, two swimming pools, and an exclusive Beach Club frequented by Miami's elite.

Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event spaces, Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is positioned as a cultural hub for events that celebrate music, art, and fashion. The property offers unparalleled venues for meetings, weddings, and special occasions, making it a highly sought-after location for event planners and guests alike.

The Event Planning Manager role is a critical position within this dynamic new resort. This position is responsible for managing the sales bookings and maintaining close communication with meeting planners and hotel staff to ensure event success. The manager administers contracts, coordinates all food, beverage, and audiovisual needs, manages room blocks, oversees billing, and performs final event reviews. As the onsite liaison, the Event Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth execution of all events and celebrations hosted at the resort.

This role demands a professional skilled in short- and long-term event planning, including budget development, marketing strategy implementation, and revenue generation through catering sales. The manager works closely with culinary teams to design creative and innovative menus while ensuring pricing strategies align with budget goals. Leadership and teamwork are essential, as the manager trains and supervises event staff, collaborates with the Director of Banquets, and leads the event team toward building lasting customer relationships that meet hotel objectives.

Joining Andaz Miami Beach means becoming part of a team that values exceptional performance while providing rewarding career development opportunities. The workplace culture encourages job enrichment in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount. Benefits offered include comprehensive health plans, generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of employee discounts, among others.
