Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Proficiency with computer and event management software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Prefer two years of hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
  • Preferred completion of PSS or equivalent training

Job Duties

  • Administer sales agreements
  • Coordinate food, beverage, and audiovisual needs
  • Manage room blocks and client pickups
  • Handle billing instructions and final reviews
  • Serve as on-site contact for event execution
  • Liaise between meeting planners and hotel staff
  • Ensure seamless event operations
