The Event Planning Manager at Hyatt plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events and meetings hosted at the hotel. This position primarily services Sales bookings, acting as the essential link between Meeting Planners and internal hotel staff. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of an event from initial booking to final execution, ensuring every detail meets the client’s expectations. This includes administering the Sales agreement, coordinating the details of food, beverage, and audio/visual needs, managing room blocks and pick-up schedules, as well as overseeing billing instructions and conducting thorough final reviews. As the on-site contact during events, the Event Planning Manager guarantees the smooth operation of all activities, resolving any issues that may arise and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Ideal candidates for this role demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and have a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They possess refined verbal and written communication skills, essential for liaising effectively with clients and internal teams. With a preference for individuals having 1-3 years of experience in hotel event sales or event planning, candidates also benefit from familiarity with hotel operations or completion of an Event Management trainee program. Proficiency in general computer knowledge and attention to detail are critical traits to succeed in this position. Completion of professional sales systems training such as PSS or its equivalent is also preferred, enabling the manager to handle complex booking processes and client needs efficiently.

Job Requirements
