We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Manager to join The Westin Pittsburgh team. This full-time management position reports to the leadership team and plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless execution of events hosted at the property. The Event Manager is responsible for coordinating all event documentation, working closely with Sales, various hotel departments, and customers to maintain consistent, high-quality service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases. Handling events of average complexity, this role is instrumental in providing a smooth transition from sales to service and back, while actively identifying opportunities to maximize revenue through up-selling and event enhancements.

The successful candidate will bring between one to two years of experience in event management or related fields, along with a high school diploma or GED, or a relevant two-year degree from an accredited university with at least one year of experience. This position offers an annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $72,000 and includes eligibility for bonuses. The Event Manager will use their expertise and judgment to integrate current event management trends and designs, acting as a liaison between the salesperson and customers throughout the event lifecycle, including assisting with site inspections and the sales process as needed.

Key responsibilities include managing event logistics and operations to ensure precise execution, overseeing group room blocks and meeting spaces, identifying and resolving operational challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the event. The role also requires leading event management teams through formal pre- and post-event meetings, supporting sales and marketing functions by assisting in sales processes and revenue forecasts, and conducting human resources activities such as reviewing employee performance and providing feedback.

Job Requirements
