The Senior Planner position within Amenity Services at JPMorgan Chase provides an exceptional career opportunity for a highly skilled event planner to lead and orchestrate outstanding events within the firm's premier Event Space. This role is designed for a proactive and experienced professional who will lead a dynamic planning team to deliver top-tier client meetings and memorable experiences, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency. The Senior Planner collaborates closely with innovative partners in Technology and Regional Management to set new service standards and create unique moments for clients, maintaining global standards consistent with the firm's reputation. Key responsibilities include overseeing executive events and tours, managing client and employee relations, addressing client challenges with effective solutions, and maintaining a collaborative team environment. In addition, the role involves conducting staff reviews, identifying training needs, managing daily projects, and mastering the EMS system for reservations and reporting. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, strong organizational and multitasking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and audio-visual systems, and a background in luxury hospitality, event planning, and food and beverage service. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in luxury hospitality industry, event planning and food and beverage with high touch customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage client experiences and expectations using a high level of tact and diplomacy
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team, including conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover client center hours and locations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate executive events and tours in the firms premier Event Space, collaborating with teams to exceed client expectations
  • Provide personalized customer service to all clients and employees
  • Address client challenges with effective solutions for a positive experience
  • Maintain a collaborative and team-oriented attitude and lead by example
  • Assist with staff coverage and daily projects
  • Assist with executive tours
  • Participate in operations meetings and reviews, providing feedback and direction
  • Execute pre and post event calls to manage details
  • Conduct staff reviews and identify training needs
  • Cover reception desk functions, including calls and emails as needed
  • Master the EMS system for reservation and reporting
