We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Event Operations Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This dynamic role demands a specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with senior leadership and clients. The Event Operations Specialist will play a critical role in managing and executing both virtual and in-person events with precision and professionalism.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of virtual events using platforms such as Zoom and Webex, including managing registration, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth live event delivery. Additionally, the specialist will manage logistics for in-person conferences, handling everything from venue selection and catering to audiovisual needs and vendor coordination, as well as on-site execution to guarantee flawless event production.

Collaborating closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders will be a key aspect of the role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless event delivery. The specialist will also be responsible for training teams on event technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase audience engagement.

The role requires support across multiple events and projects, demanding strong attention to detail and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously. Candidates with a minimum of two years of hands-on event management experience, particularly with virtual events, are ideal. Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders and clients is crucial, as the role involves significant interaction with senior leadership. The position is based in Irving, TX, and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring comfort with domestic travel of approximately 30%. Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of hands-on event management experience including virtual events

  • Reside local to Irving, TX
  • Able to work in a hybrid role
  • Willingness to travel domestically about 30% of the time
