Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
  • Valid drivers license or ability to obtain one
  • Availability for flexible work hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Customer service oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to follow safety regulations and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Parking experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating arena shows, conferences, or meetings preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Clear and concise communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Valid drivers license or ability to obtain one
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including long, irregular hours, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and consecutive days
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to identify facility user needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet software
  • Knowledge of crowd management, customer service practices, supervision and training principles, fire and public safety regulations, and parking technology preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of assigned events from advance planning through event settlement
  • Thoroughly describe venue services and coordinate these with clients
  • Assist clients with event logistics and recommend facility usage for event functions
  • Collaborate with Operations Department to ensure event set up meets client specifications and safety regulations
  • Review emergency planning procedures with event staff prior to each event
  • Create and distribute detailed Event Data Sheets before events
  • Maintain clear, concise, and timely communication with building staff regarding event requirements
  • Update event estimates and complete final event settlements
  • Problem-solve, make quick decisions, and delegate responsibilities professionally under pressure
  • Recommend and evaluate required event staffing levels
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled
  • Hire, discipline, evaluate, schedule, train, and develop part-time parking staff
  • Develop and update Parking Department's Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Perform all duties maintaining a customer service focus aligned with Oak View Group's mission
  • Perform other duties as assigned
