Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
  • 3-5 years of audiovisual experience is required
  • Must meet and complete all training and certification requirements as per Encore's Global Learning Training Program
  • Knowledge of technical theory
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading workflow and team members
  • Valid driver's license for positions operating company vehicles
  • Additional DOT requirements if applicable
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently

Job Duties

  • Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment
  • Performs daily floor management including directing technician workflows and assisting with labor needs and scheduling
  • Participates in crew scheduling with venue management and Workforce, focusing on talent, business levels, and event requirements
  • Ensures flowsheets are updated and accurately completed
  • Coordinates communications for event management with the team
  • Attends venue meetings as needed including banquet order meetings and pre/post conferences
  • Assists management in ensuring compliance with Operational Excellence and service standards
  • Provides training and mentoring for technicians on operational and service standards
  • Oversees accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment
  • Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves them quickly
  • Ensures security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Participates in physical inventory counts as requested
