Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage financial and administrative responsibilities
- Capacity to lead and motivate a team

- Knowledge of applicable laws related to event operations
- Ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Experience in scheduling and inventory management

Job Duties
- Direct and motivate banquet team while providing high-quality service
- Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- Manage banquet operations including supply projections and inventory maintenance
- Schedule Event Services staff to maximize profits and meet service standards
- Develop relationships with groups to retain and grow business
- Lead departmental meetings and delegate tasks to improve performance
- Conduct function room inspections and ensure event setups meet specifications
- Act as liaison between banquet, kitchen, event planning and technology teams
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints, encouraging excellent customer service
- Plan and execute training strategies to accomplish departmental goals
- Communicate performance expectations and provide feedback to associates
- Oversee application of safety procedures and participate in emergency training
- Participate in development and implementation of corrective action plans
- Review guest satisfaction results and incorporate improvements
