Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • at least 1 year of management experience
  • 2 or more years as a banquet captain
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industries
  • broad experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • familiarity with database software
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for periods and lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • minimum 1 year of management experience
  • 2 or more years as a banquet captain
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industries
  • broad experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • familiarity with database software
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage your team of event hosts
  • oversee all setup of appropriate areas
  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless event experiences
  • make personal connections with event clients to exceed guest expectations
  • complete and utilize event reporting and guest feedback to improve satisfaction
  • schedule and counsel event staff according to HR policies
  • work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and extended days
