Job Description

Located in Dayton, Ohio, Hangar 01 at the Greene Towne Centre serves as the central hub for the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO). This facility supports a collaborative and innovative environment dedicated to advancing new technologies, processes, and sustainment capabilities for the U.S. Air Force. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field or three years of relevant experience
  • Minimum three years of experience in event coordination and support
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience working under shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for military, government, and academic guests
  • Resourceful and deadline-driven
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with day-of event logistics
  • U.S. citizenship required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field or at least three years of relevant experience in event planning, communications, or marketing
  • Minimum three years of experience coordinating and supporting events in professional settings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable supporting day-of event logistics including physical setup and coordination during events

Job Duties

  • Plan and organize events of various types and sizes
  • Develop event layouts and coordinate programming and demonstrations
  • Select and manage vendors for event services
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and manage event communications
  • Support event setup, teardown, and day-of event execution
  • Coordinate and maintain the Hangar 01 facility calendar
