Known as America's "It City," Nashville has quickly evolved into a vibrant destination for major sporting events, including prestigious international soccer tournaments such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, and the FIFA Club World Cup. The city's passion for soccer is reflected in the club's home, GEODIS Park, which boasts the largest soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer (MLS). In 2025, Nashville SC made history by becoming Tennessee's first professional sports team champion, firmly establishing its place in the sports community and fueling excitement among local and national fans.

Nashville SC prides itself on delivering high-quality, dynamic event experiences that highlight its commitment to excellence both on and off the field. The club is dedicated to growing the sport's popularity and engagement in the region through professional matches, community-focused activities, and major events that attract diverse audiences. Nashville's thriving music, entertainment, and sports culture combine to create a unique environment where Major League Soccer continues to flourish.

The Event Operations part-time associate role is a crucial position within the Event Operations department at Nashville SC. Reporting to the Director of Event Operations, this role supports the planning and execution of MLS matches and other significant events hosted at GEODIS Park. The position is designed for candidates passionate about sports and entertainment who aspire to contribute to world-class event delivery. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in various operational duties such as locker room preparation, credential management, and coordination with visiting teams and referees. Furthermore, they will lead and oversee ball retrievers during matches and assist multiple departments with day-to-day duties, ensuring seamless event execution from start to finish.

Beyond match days, the associate will collaborate with the Event Management Team to plan and support third-party ancillary events and other major happenings at GEODIS Park. They will handle equipment logistics, client coordination, and set up event spaces that accommodate multiple departments' needs. This multifaceted position offers extensive practical experience in event operations within the sports industry and provides exposure to a range of operational challenges and opportunities.

Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office Suite programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential to help manage operational details efficiently. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented approach are highly valued as the team works collaboratively to deliver exceptional events that resonate with the club's fans and stakeholders.
