Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Working toward a four-year degree in business marketing or related field or equivalent professional work experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to details
  • Capable of standing walking and lifting small materials as required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and liability insurance if driving is required
  • Ability to travel to local and campus locations
  • Ability to handle challenging situations in a positive manner

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide support information and guidance in scheduling and planning internal and external events in Liberty University facilities
  • Assist with scheduling all departmental and summer camps
  • Manage scheduling logistical planning and special coordination for all summer events including summer camps conferences weddings graduations and all summer events
  • Work onsite in event venues to oversee policies and ensure that the event runs smoothly
  • Perform office tasks such as answering phones sending emails creating spreadsheets updating online software and organizing materials
  • Help enforce University policies and standards for summer events and conferences
  • Promote professionalism and outstanding customer service in accordance with the Liberty Way
