Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or related field
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- experience with event management software such as Delphi preferred
- ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- flexible availability including weekdays, some evenings, and occasional weekends
- strong organizational skills
- problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or a related field
- prior experience in a hotel or conference center environment is preferred
- high school diploma required
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- experience with Delphi or similar event management software is a plus
- strong organizational and time management skills
- able to manage multiple events simultaneously
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of local competition and hospitality trends is an advantage
Job Duties
- Conduct property tours and client presentations with professionalism and enthusiasm
- manage sales process including proposals, contracting, and follow-up communication
- coordinate with clients to finalize all meeting and event details
- prepare accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- liaise with internal departments (banquets, culinary, operations) to ensure flawless event execution
- build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- collaborate with outside vendors to ensure event success
- exhibit strong problem-solving skills and make timely, informed decisions
- maintain proficiency in Delphi, Microsoft Word, and Excel
