Job Description
Our client is a leading global experiential marketing organization specializing in immersive, technology-driven product experiences that bring emerging innovations to life across industry, consumer, cultural, and partner events. With locations in Burlingame, CA and New York, NY, this organization works at the intersection of technology and live experiential marketing, using creativity and cutting-edge solutions to deliver impactful, memorable activations on a large scale. They focus on integrating hardware, software, and emerging technologies into captivating product demonstrations that resonate with diverse audiences ranging from consumers and creators to enterprise clients.
The role of Event Manager V (Experiential Producer) within this organization is a critical leadership position responsible for leading the strategy and execution of world-class product demonstrations and experiential activations. This includes overseeing complex, large-scale events spanning major cultural moments such as sports, fashion, and entertainment, as well as industry conferences and proprietary events. As Event Manager V, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, product, engineering, creative, and agency partners—to design and implement immersive experiences that highlight innovative technologies in engaging and scalable ways. The role requires management of all elements from concept and creative production to logistics, vendor management, and onsite operations including demo deployment and technical troubleshooting.
This position offers an opportunity to drive high-profile events connecting technology with audiences across B2B and B2C markets. The role requires substantial travel (30-50%) including domestic and some international trips, with a hybrid work setting based in either Burlingame, CA or New York, NY (requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week). The initial contract duration is 12 months with the potential for extension depending on project needs and performance.
Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience producing large-scale, complex experiential events involving 1,000+ attendees and have demonstrated aptitude in creating and scaling high-impact product experiences. Strong operational and program management skills are essential to lead seamless execution of multi-format live, hybrid, and virtual events. Excellent communication skills and experience working within matrixed organizations are key to aligning cross-functional teams and effectively managing senior stakeholder expectations. The right person will be comfortable handling budgets, managing vendors, scheduling complex workflows, troubleshooting technical elements, and analyzing event metrics to measure performance and optimize future activations.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with VR, AI, wearables, smart glasses, and other emerging consumer hardware, as well as experience with global event production and delivering events across culturally diverse verticals like sports, fashion, entertainment, luxury, and gaming. Experience working within Fortune 500 or large enterprise settings is highly advantageous.
Joining as Event Manager V, you will play a pivotal role at the forefront of experiential marketing innovation, delivering memorable, immersive product experiences that inspire, educate, and engage audiences worldwide.
