The Event Manager role at itD is a critical position dedicated to the planning and execution of large-scale, enterprise-level events designed to create high-impact experiences for global audiences. This fully remote role offers the chance to work on marquee events like the CCW 2026, Infocomm 2026, WebexOne 2026, and other significant trade shows and conferences. As the Event Manager, you will take ownership of the final stages of event coordination, stakeholder alignment, and onsite execution, especially at large trade shows and marketing events with more than 500 attendees. The ideal candidate has over five years of onsite event management experience within enterprise markets, possessing familiarity with top event management tools such as CVENT, GES, Jiffle, InfoSec, and CASPR, along with expertise in booth management and sponsorship fulfillment.
Your responsibilities encompass managing critical communications and meetings, onsite vendor coordination, and detailed post-event reporting, including metrics and feedback to drive continual improvement. Collaboration with internal practice teams, participation in industry thought leadership, and contribution to the Digital Transformation community of practice are also integral parts of the role. The role’s dynamic nature requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual capable of handling high demand with excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and professional communication abilities. As a liaison between sponsors, speakers, vendors, and leadership, you'll ensure every detail aligns for a seamless event experience that advances client goals and business outcomes.
This position is offered as a W2 opportunity, contracted with a Fortune 500 client in Silicon Valley, with a 6-7 month term and no extensions. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of onsite event management experience
- Experience with large scale enterprise events
- Familiarity with CVENT, GES, Jiffle, InfoSec, CASPR
- Ability to travel for onsite event support
- Availability for specific event dates in June and October 2026
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of professionalism with executives and stakeholders
- Ability to work remotely in the USA preferably CT/ET
- Capability to handle high workload and deadlines
- Comfort with technical topics and emerging technologies
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of onsite event management experience in enterprise markets
- Proven experience managing large-scale marketing events with 500+ attendees
- Proficiency with event management tools such as CVENT, GES, Jiffle, InfoSec, CASPR
- Strong understanding of trade show booth management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to create executive-level presentations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Project Management tools
- Experience working with Webex collaboration software
Job Duties
- Join CCW weekly planning calls
- Support Client Manager as needed
- Manage onsite plans and vendor coordination at CCW
- Use Jiffle meetings management tool and report weekly
- Provide onsite support during CCW and WebexOne events
- Coordinate sponsor speaker management and swag activations
- Manage post-event reporting, debriefing, and lead tracking
- Collaborate with internal teams on thought leadership and case study development
