Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire
- Three years of event experience
- Title 4 Basic Liquor Law Certification within 90 days of hire
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Provide a 39-month satisfactory MVR report
- Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at hire
- Pass a test for illegal drugs
- Agree to maintain a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

- Pass drug test and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Skilled in project management techniques
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Communities
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant workplace tools
Job Duties
- Oversee end-to-end event management from planning to execution
- Develop innovative event concepts and themes aligning with client preferences and market trends
- Oversee logistics, vendor coordination, staffing, and onsite event management
- Quickly identify and resolve challenges during event planning and execution
- Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, local authorities, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and licensing regulations
