Job Description
Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a leading event marketing company specializing in in-store product demonstrations and brand promotions. As the preferred in-house event marketing provider for Costco, CDS offers the industry’s best person-to-person marketing services, helping to drive significant sales for both their clients and Costco. With a reputation for excellence and a strong presence in retail, CDS is committed to delivering high-quality marketing experiences through effective product demonstrations and exceptional customer engagement. The company prides itself on its supportive work environment, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within the event marketing sector.
The Event Manager role at CDS is a full-time position dedicated to overseeing the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators. This role requires the individual to manage daily operations related to product preparation and presentation, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. The Event Manager will be responsible for leading and coaching part-time staff to deliver excellent customer service and dynamic product demonstrations. Effective communication is essential in this role, as the Event Manager will serve as the pivotal link between warehouse managers, vendors, and in-store demonstrators. Additionally, the Event Manager will participate in new location grand openings, ensuring smooth execution of events and top-tier service delivery.
Working at CDS means enjoying a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, which provides a good work-life balance with predictable hours that can vary based on operational needs. The company offers full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with short and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off. This comprehensive benefits package reflects CDS’s commitment to its employees’ well-being and financial security. The ideal candidate for this role will bring two to four years of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. CDS values individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of independent judgment, and skilled in coaching and counseling employees to foster well-performing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a respected company and contribute meaningfully to its continued success and growth.
