Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of venue functionality
  • Knowledge of event management procedures
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and clientele including high profile touring promotion agencies
  • Strong public relations skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Experience in financial and budgetary decision-making

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of functionality of venues
  • Knowledge of event management procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with divisions within the facility, contracted vendors/services, and clientele
  • Ability to maintain an excellent public image for the facility
  • Maintains knowledge of current concert tours, conventions, and trade shows including concert production trends
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary on-site contact with every promoter for events ranging in gross revenue to potentially more than $1M
  • Plan the event, coordinate move in, oversee the event, and manage move out
  • Supervise facility operations including outside contractors and facility employees
  • Determine staffing requirements and adjust for security concerns, attendance fluctuations, and weather
  • Make sound financial and operational decisions regarding event changes
  • Serve as facility representative for all events
  • Develop detailed operational and financial plans and distribute to facility personnel
