The company proudly manages and serves an impressive portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and has established a trusted client roster consisting of some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Oak View Group continues to expand its influence within the sports and live entertainment industry by delivering unparalleled experiences for clients and patrons alike.
The Event Manager role at Oak View Group is a dynamic and integral position responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned events from initial planning right through to event completion. This role entails coordinating and managing the logistics, organization, and professional client services support for events hosted within the facility. The Event Manager will serve as a critical liaison between event staff and clients, ensuring seamless communication and delegation of responsibilities among all involved parties. Emphasizing high standards of customer service, the position focuses on delivering exceptional experiences for both customers and lessees by monitoring event progress and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required. Additionally, Oak View Group provides robust benefits for full-time employees including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan complete with matching contributions, and generous paid time off encompassing vacation, sick days, and 11 recognized holidays.
As an Event Manager, you will be tasked with directing facility staff to provide outstanding services for various events, participating actively in pre-event planning and review, and maintaining meticulous documentation including event and contractor charges for invoicing and collections follow-up. The role also involves conducting post-event evaluations to ensure the quality of services rendered meets or exceeds client expectations. Part of the responsibilities includes giving tours of the facility to potential customers, helping them understand available services and venue capabilities, and assisting in formulating pricing estimates for prospective bookings.
Compliance is a critical component of this role, requiring vigilant monitoring to ensure all contractual obligations and facility, governmental, and safety regulations are strictly adhered to by clients and service providers. Through clear, concise, and timely communication, the Event Manager coordinates among various internal departments to implement facility rules, policies, and procedures while fostering positive public relations and maintaining the venue's esteemed reputation.
Joining Oak View Group means becoming part of a forward-thinking organization that values diversity and inclusion as fundamental drivers of innovation and excellence. OVG is committed to creating an environment where people from all backgrounds are celebrated, thereby strengthening the company's service quality and overall impact on the live entertainment industry. The company is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a workplace free from discrimination and bias across all legally protected classes.
This position remains open until July 10th, 2026, offering an exciting and rewarding opportunity for professionals experienced in event management within stadiums, arenas, or large public assembly venues to contribute to OVG’s ongoing mission of delivering extraordinary live experiences.
