Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in events or catering within hospitality industry
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • flexible schedule for group events
  • knowledge of event management preferred
  • familiarity with Delphi.fdc preferred

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communicate to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution
  • ensure high quality service by assisting others to understand guest needs and providing direction and guidance
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process
  • provide direction and supervision to departments and team members during events
  • serve on site group and catering customers in a proactive manner
  • perform other duties as necessary
  • maintain regular attendance
