Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in event management or related hospitality field
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- strong organizational skills
- customer service orientation
- flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to handle conflict resolution and negotiate effectively
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in event management or hospitality preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with event management software and hotel systems
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- excellent problem-solving skills
- demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- knowledge of sales techniques and revenue maximization strategies
- ability to work collaboratively within a team
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
- ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
