Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in event management or related hospitality field
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • strong organizational skills
  • customer service orientation
  • flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • ability to handle conflict resolution and negotiate effectively
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event management or hospitality preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with event management software and hotel systems
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • knowledge of sales techniques and revenue maximization strategies
  • ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
  • ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
