Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree supplemented with 3 or more years' experience in facilities, project management or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proven event management experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to supervise and manage staff
- Capability to operate university vehicles
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and overnight
- Ability to lift, carry, stand, climb, crawl, kneel, and perform repetitive motions
- Comfortable with direct animal or patient contact

Job Duties
- Assists with events/programs and day-to-day operations at the Health Science and Water Tower Campuses
- Oversees development and implementation of 25Live calendar and Room Scheduler for event scheduling
- Plans, schedules, and supervises event setups, teardowns, and changeovers
- Maintains event reports, maintenance logs, and safety incident reports
- Serves as departmental contact for inquiries and coordinates with campus departments for event services
- Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student staff
- Supports student groups and university departments with event marketing and advertising
- Acts as 24/7 on-call representative for Conference Services and university events
- Coordinates risk management, evacuation, contingency plans, and drills for student staff and guests
- Manages inventory and budgeting for facility resources and maintenance
- Assists with lodging and housing accommodations for conference groups
- Facilitates client communications, conducts walk-throughs and pre-con meetings
- Supports marketing and promotion initiatives to drive event revenue opportunities
- Provides exceptional customer service and serves as a liaison with vendors and clients
- Works flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts to support events and housing operations
- Performs additional duties and backup support for Conference Service Managers as needed
