Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing or related field
- 4+ years progressive experience in event planning and management
- live/sporting events experience preferred
- 1+ years experience leading people
- direct experience managing budgets of at least 150K USD
- proficient computer skills including Excel, CRM software, and project management tools
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- strong time management and prioritization skills
- highly adaptable and comfortable making decisions in new or changing situations
- bi/multilingual preferred
- full-time, in-office based in Charlotte, NC
- prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- extensive walking and standing for periods greater than 12 hours while at events
- must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
- willing and eligible to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
- targeted travel 18-25%
- eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and deliver hospitality and logistics for 12+ events annually
- manage physical and digital ticket inventory, seat assignments, and distribution
- fulfill guest orders including report building, shipping label generation, supplier coordination, quality assurance, packing, and documentation
- coordinate with graphic design team for production of event assets
- manage scheduling and timelines for guests and staff across multiple event components
- select, negotiate, contract, and manage vendors and suppliers
- set priorities and manage tasks for self and team to ensure event success
- ensure accuracy and timely completion of team deliverables
- provide hands-on coaching and career development for team members
- lead direct reports
- manage assigned event budgets and hold team accountable
- negotiate and collaborate to maximize budget utilization
- track expenses accurately and timely
- control on-site expenses and promote fiscal responsibility
- collaborate with department leaders for sales projections and budget adjustments
