As one of the city's most artistic hospitality destinations, Saint Kate uniquely combines a deep passion for art, performance, and elevated service in every guest experience. A proud member of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the hotel benefits from a rich legacy of over 60 years of excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry. Marcus Hotels & Resorts is widely recognized for their commitment to quality and people-focused service, earning a reputation as "People Pleasing People." Saint Kate stands out as a place where creativity and hospitality meet, offering guests thrilling artistic expressions alongside impeccable comfort within an inviting and bold environment.

The hotel hosts a wide range of events including intimate performances, bold galas, weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings, and art openings. Each event space within Saint Kate serves as a blank canvas, allowing the talented team to bring vibrant experiences to life that resonate with the artistic and energetic spirit of the hotel. This dynamic environment attracts a diverse clientele who seek meaningful moments and innovative hospitality wrapped in a culturally rich setting.

The Events Manager position at Saint Kate is a critical leadership role tasked with overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution. This role demands a highly organized, experienced professional who can manage a variety of event types with precision, creativity, and attentiveness to detail. The Events Manager will partner closely with clients, sales managers, vendors, and multiple internal departments including culinary, banquet, audiovisual, and front office to create seamless and memorable experiences. This position also requires overseeing event timelines, diagrams, banquet event orders (BEOs), budgets, billing, and post-event analysis.

As the on-site lead during events, the Events Manager provides hands-on leadership, quick problem-solving, and ensures that each event aligns with Saint Kate’s artistic brand, exceptional service standards, and innovative approach to hospitality. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients, local cultural organizations, and community partners is also a vital part of this role, contributing to the hotel’s reputation as a cultural hub.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with event schedules. The successful candidate will be someone with at least two years of event management experience, preferably within the hotel or venue industry. They should possess strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering elevated customer service in a creative, team-oriented environment. Familiarity with event software such as Delphi, Opera, or Social Tables is a plus.

Joining Saint Kate offers not only a competitive salary but also a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within a values-driven hospitality company. Employees enjoy complimentary meals, access to hotel and dining discounts across Marcus Hotels & Resorts, and unique perks such as "two for one" movie tickets at Marcus Theatres. The hotel also offers paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days, life insurance, an employee assistance program, and a 401k plan with employer matching.

At Saint Kate, every event is more than just a gathering - it is a work of art. If you are passionate about the arts, community engagement, and creating extraordinary moments through exceptional event management, this role offers a stimulating and rewarding career path within a respected and lively hospitality environment. The hotel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark Milwaukee destination that celebrates creativity, culture, and excellence in hospitality.
