Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree
- experience in event management or hospitality
- ability to manage and lead a team
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- capability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods
- ability to lift objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- 1 year plus management experience
- 2 years plus banquet captain experience
- bachelor’s degree
- knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
- broad experience in event planning and execution
- proficiency in MS Office suite
- knowledge of database software preferred
- understanding of POS register systems
Job Duties
- Host special events
- manage a team of event hosts
- oversee all setup of event areas
- collaborate with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
- connect personally with event clients and ensure guest satisfaction
- complete all event reporting and analyze guest feedback
- forecast event needs and schedule staff accordingly
- provide counseling and discipline to staff as per HR policies
- work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
