Job Duties
- Supervise staff and direct day-of-event set-up, service, and breakdown, maintaining thorough knowledge of BEO and directing staff to follow accordingly
- write out the Event Board with assignments for set up and event service
- cross-check with BEO and staffing to ensure accuracy and manage last-minute changes
- supervise and assist with service according to Cannon Green standards, ensuring specialty plates and food allergies are handled properly
- meet and greet all clients to act as liaison between the group and Cannon Green
- ensure bars are clean and properly stocked and distribute Bar Pull sheets
- supervise and assist with completing assigned side work
- manage staff during events to ensure service policies and procedures are followed
- perform opening and closing inventories of event bars and dinner wines and collect Bar Pull sheets
- clean bars and secure liquor at the end of functions
- ensure banquet rooms are reset and presentable after events
- keep staging area clean and organized and maintain proper storage of linens and equipment
- refer guest complaints or issues to Operations Manager and document incidents with appropriate forms
- maintain good working relationship with banquet staff and other vendors
- lead post-shift team meetings to gather feedback
- compose and send event recap reports to Operations Manager, Executive Chef, and Operations team
- familiarize with emergency, safety, and first aid procedures and report hazards
