Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years related experience in hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under time pressures and extensive hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and analyze client needs
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules
  • Experience with Delphi and Passkey a plus but not required

  • 1-3 years related experience in hospitality industry
  • Thorough knowledge of property, space, food beverage offerings and capacities
  • Food and beverage knowledge
  • Well organized, detail orientated and excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to analyze client needs and negotiate pricing
  • Superior writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, exhibit shows or special events with detailed communication for clients and hotel departments
  • Ensure contracted groups meet or exceed minimum food beverage revenues monitoring attrition
  • Ensure contracted groups meet or exceed minimum guest room revenues monitoring attrition
  • Ensure contracted groups meet or exceed minimum meeting room rental revenues
  • Coordinate menu arrangements that maximize hotel revenue while serving client needs
  • Upsell food beverage, guest room types, and ancillary revenue streams
  • Obtain and monitor conference rooming lists, cut-off dates, and compliance with sales contracts
