As an iconic establishment, The Jefferson Hotel combines timeless charm with modern amenities, providing guests with a unique and memorable experience. Known for its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, the hotel prides itself on offering not only upscale lodging but also exquisite event spaces and personalized services. With a reputation that attracts discerning clientele, The Jefferson Hotel stands out in the competitive hospitality industry as a preferred destination for travelers, business professionals, and event planners alike.

The role of Events Manager at The Jefferson Hotel is both dynamic and integral to the hotel's success in the events and group sales arena. This salaried, exempt position involves managing the entire lifecycle of events—from initial inquiry and proposal creation through to flawless execution and post-event follow-up. The manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by actively engaging in proactive sales efforts, building and nurturing client relationships, and converting leads into confirmed business. This position demands a motivated, sales-minded professional who can position the hotel as a distinctive, superior choice in a competitive market. The Events Manager must be adaptable to a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of ongoing and upcoming events.

Key responsibilities include managing event inquiries, proposals, contracts, and bookings, as well as coordinating group room blocks and collaborating with sales and revenue teams to maximize profitability. Attention to detail is crucial for creating and distributing accurate Banquet Event Orders and event resumes. The role also includes direct on-site client engagement during events to ensure seamless delivery and satisfaction, along with diligent billing review processes.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least two years of hotel experience, preferably with a background in event planning, sales, or Food & Beverage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, with familiarity in systems such as Delphi, Infor, or Social Tables considered a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, and a proactive approach to growing business and enhancing guest experiences.

The Jefferson Hotel offers a competitive salary complemented by an incentive program that rewards performance and results. The position is designed for individuals driven by achievement and eager to make a significant impact on both service quality and hotel revenue. Team members benefit from employee meals, free parking, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive and high-performing environment dedicated to excellence and collaborative success.
