The role of Event Manager at Warped Wing Brewing Co is a dynamic and pivotal position responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events across multiple taproom locations. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving revenue, and ensuring events align with the brand's operational goals and standards. The Event Manager acts as the primary liaison for private event inquiries, working closely with clients to tailor event packages and proposals aligned with their needs.
In this position, the individual manages a diverse portfolio of event spaces, coordinating with taproom staff, kitchen teams, and marketing departments to deliver seamless and memorable events. The Event Manager is tasked with ensuring event operations run smoothly on event days, from setup to breakdown, and acts as the on-site supervisor to handle any issues efficiently. This role also involves training and mentoring taproom staff in event procedures to maintain high service standards.
Administrative responsibilities are a crucial aspect of this role, including maintaining detailed records of bookings, financial tracking, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Additionally, the Event Manager collaborates with marketing to promote event offerings, engaging in social media, email marketing, and creating promotional materials.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in event management
- strong organizational skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- knowledge of food and beverage operations including alcohol service

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for private event inquiries
- conduct site visits and consultations with clients
- develop and present tailored event proposals and contracts
- manage event booking schedules across locations
- coordinate with kitchen and bar teams on menus and staffing
- oversee event execution ensuring timely and on-budget delivery
- collaborate with taproom staff to prepare event spaces
- act as on-site event supervisor and resolve issues
- provide post-event follow-ups and collect feedback
- train and mentor taproom staff on event operations
- coordinate schedules and labor costs with management
- communicate with FOH and BOH teams to maintain service consistency
- maintain detailed event records and client communications
- track revenue and expenses and report to management
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
