Job Description

Strive is a forward-thinking company located in Mesa, Arizona, known for its commitment to innovation and professionalism within its industry. As an established leader in its field, Strive emphasizes the importance of collaboration, precision, and adaptability to maintain its competitive edge. This organization is dedicated to enhancing the client and stakeholder experience through high-quality events that reflect its core values and dynamic culture. The work environment at Strive fosters a sense of community and purpose, ensuring every team member feels supported and motivated to contribute their best efforts toward shared goals. Operating with a hybrid work model, Strive combines the benefits of in-office interactions with the flexibility of remote work, supporting a balanced and efficient approach to project execution. Strive offers a full-time position that presents a salary range between $100,000 and $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience, demonstrating the company’s commitment to rewarding talent and expertise appropriately.

The Event Manager position at Strive plays a critical role as the central hub driving the successful planning and execution of diverse company events. This role is perfectly suited for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, where managing multiple moving parts and ensuring seamless coordination require both strategic planning and hands-on leadership. The Event Manager will be instrumental in supporting the company’s event strategy, acting as a project manager, communicator, and problem solver to ensure every event—whether trade shows, industry conferences, or internal company functions—delivers an outstanding representation of Strive’s brand and mission.

Key aspects of this role include managing the full lifecycle of event execution, ensuring all stakeholders such as marketing, clinical, operations, and leadership are working in concert. The Event Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining meticulous event project plans, timelines, and checklists to guarantee on-time delivery and flawless execution. Additionally, this role involves coordination of logistics such as shipping, setup, breakdown, vendor interactions, and equipment inventories, ensuring all components are perfectly aligned. Anticipating and mitigating potential logistical issues before they impact event success is a vital part of the job, along with developing contingency plans that protect the company from unforeseen complications.

Budget management and vendor relationship building are also key duties, requiring the Event Manager to track expenses, oversee vendor contracts, and conduct post-event analysis for continuous improvement. The position includes managing direct reports, currently a team of two, helping grow and develop their skills while maintaining high-performance standards. The hybrid nature of the role means the Event Manager will alternate between office-based planning, remote collaboration, and on-site event involvement, allowing for a dynamic and engaging work experience. Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to be the heartbeat of event execution within a vibrant and innovative company environment.
