Job Description
The Event Specialist role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of global event strategies for the Intelligent Devices Group. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple regions to deliver high-impact events that elevate brand visibility and drive business growth. The role requires managing a variety of complex tasks, from organizing logistics for industry trade shows and conferences to creating engaging in-person and virtual experiences. The Event Specialist will support all aspects of event execution including vendor coordination, budget tracking, material management, and post-event analysis. With domestic and international travel as part of the role, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in diverse and fast-paced environments, demonstrates excellent project management skills, and has a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach. Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale events (agency or brand-side preferred)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
- Experience with event management tools (e.g., Captello) preferred
- Experience or interest in the technology industry is a plus
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones
Job Duties
- Support the planning and execution of global event programs and trade shows
- Manage logistics and coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners
- Assist with execution and presence at key industry events and conferences
- Organize and manage event materials, including product shipments and assets across business units
- Track budgets, coordinate vendors, and support resource allocation
- Support event reporting, performance tracking, and post-event analysis
- Contribute ideas to enhance attendee engagement and brand visibility
