The Event Host role at Lucky Strike Entertainment offers an exciting opportunity to join this fast-paced, guest-centric environment. As an Event Host, you will be the heart of every event, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the entire event lifecycle. Your responsibilities will involve multitasking efficiently to keep guests satisfied and engaged. Communication and coordination with managers, chefs, and service staff will be vital to manage event timing and special requests effectively. You'll be expected to suggest and upsell enhancements to guests' pre-ordered food, beverage, and entertainment packages, creating personalized connections that elevate guest satisfaction.
The role requires you to coordinate all aspects of event setup, including tables, areas, and supplies, as well as the management of food and beverage service. You will be a trusted point of contact for event guests, assisting them with various needs such as programming names for scoring or providing safety guidance. Job Duties
- Gather all essential info for events and staffing prior to an event’s start
- Liaise with managers, chefs, and service staff regarding event timing and any special requests
- Suggestively sell extensions i.e., additional entertainment or food and beverage to the pre-ordered event food, beverage, and/or experience package
- Coordinate the setup of all tables, areas, supplies and manage the service of all food and beverage
- Create a personal connection with the event contact and ensure that all guest needs aren’t just met but exceeded
- Assist the guest by helping program names into the scoring system, explaining safety precautions, and maybe even giving a quick bowling lesson
- Walk, bend, stand, and occasionally lift objects with assistance in a typical entertainment environment
