Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years' audio visual experience
  • at least 1 year supervisory experience
  • preferred 2 years customer service or hospitality experience
  • sales experience is a plus
  • knowledge of live show audio visual equipment
  • ability to complete level 3 skills training
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with computer software including microsoft office and internet
  • effective leadership skills
  • valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • service events and act as a point of escalation
  • identify key issues and decision makers for contract renewal
  • consult with venue sales leadership on sales strategies
  • participate in business review presentations
  • manage efficient and profitable operations focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • achieve financial goals by managing labor and equipment costs
  • utilize operational and financial reports accurately
  • coordinate invoicing and billing approvals
  • complete sales forecasts timely
  • manage location profit and loss and develop action plans
  • confirm timely payments from venue partners
  • perform and direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups
  • ensure timely delivery and quality of equipment and services
  • anticipate equipment challenges
  • maintain inventory levels and safety
  • share labor and equipment efficiently within local market
  • attend operational venue meetings
  • apply advanced troubleshooting and problem solving for equipment and software
  • utilize company computer systems
  • act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • create strategies to maximize event revenue including upselling and cross-selling
  • prepare and deliver presentations and proposals
  • attend site visits and planning meetings
  • collaborate with vendors and departments
  • understand event cost structure and ensure profitability
  • maintain accurate customer data in CRM
  • keep knowledge of new products and technologies
  • deliver world-class service by maintaining relationships and overseeing event execution staff
  • exceed customer expectations and monitor venues
  • portray professional image
  • promote culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • manage team performance and development
  • implement diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
