Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- two years of casino experience preferred
- one year of prior event coordinator experience preferred
- valid driver’s license
- ability to pass a background check and obtain a key gaming license
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to walk, sit, and stand for periods
- ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and move intermittently throughout the day
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- preferred two years of casino experience
- preferred one year of prior event coordinator experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to operate various computer software including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphic applications
- knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter
- familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle large sums of money
- ability to remain calm under pressure and possess positive conflict management skills
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- guest-focused approach
Job Duties
- assist in planning and executing high-profile casino events such as VIP experiences, anniversary celebrations, promotions, and player appreciation nights
- manage event logistics including vendor coordination, entertainment bookings, venue setup, and decor
- ensure seamless event execution by coordinating with internal teams and staffing as needed
- maintain and promote Thunderbird Casino’s brand identity through all events and marketing efforts
- develop engaging content for event promotion across digital and traditional marketing channels
- create event-related marketing materials including flyers, email campaigns, digital signage, and social media graphics
- strategize event promotion, track performance, and adjust campaigns as necessary
- collaborate with Player Development Host and other departments to align events with business objectives
