Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years of experience in event coordination or sales within hospitality
- 2 plus years of experience in restaurant management or supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of upscale dining service and event management
- Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to commute or relocate to Washington, DC
Job Qualifications
- 3 plus years of event coordination or sales experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue
- 2 plus years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Knowledge of upscale dining service standards and event production
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- Develop and manage private dining and event bookings from inquiry to execution
- Collaborate with guests to customize menus, layouts, and experiences
- Coordinate with culinary, bar, and service teams to ensure flawless event execution
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and build relationships with corporate, social, and community partners
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations when not executing events
- Lead, train, and motivate FOH staff to deliver outstanding service
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and P and L oversight
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive traffic and event sales
