Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service
  • Experience working with children and organizing children's events
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings

  • Good communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal communication and listening
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle job stress and maintain positivity in difficult situations

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members and complete administrative tasks
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup or emergency plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events and uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products and provide creative solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Engage customers on benefits of rewards programs and complete enrollments
  • Assist with omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, planogram processes, and merchandise recovery
  • Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain daily store cleanliness activities and cross-train in custom framing selling and production
