We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Walters Wedding Estates. This role is vital for managing the flow of wedding ceremonies and receptions, ensuring each client enjoys a flawless and memorable event. As an Event Coordinator, you will collaborate with the banquet team and vendors, lead rehearsal activities, and oversee the processional and recessional of wedding ceremonies. Your role will involve managing on-site logistics during receptions, assisting with coordinating kitchen and floor staff, and guaranteeing the venue remains pristine and welcoming throughout events. This position is perfect for a motivated individual with strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to take extreme ownership of their tasks.

Working part-time on weekends and evenings, you will be compensated with an hourly wage between $20.00 and $24.00, reflecting the responsibility and expertise expected. Additionally, Walters Wedding Estates offers a 401k plan with a 4% match, providing valuable benefits that support your financial and professional growth. This position requires physical stamina, as the role involves standing or walking for 8 to 12 hours and frequent lifting of up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • food and beverage experience preferred
  • TABC certification required
  • Serve Safe Food Handlers certification required
  • ability to lift 30 pounds frequently
  • ability to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours
  • must be eligible to work in the United States
  • complete background check
  • valid driver’s license
  • reliable transportation
