As an Event Coordinator at Main Event, you play a pivotal role in transforming ordinary celebrations into extraordinary events. This position is essential in planning and coordinating birthday parties, corporate events, and group gatherings by partnering with Guests to understand their unique needs and tailoring experiences to create unforgettable moments. Event Coordinators act as ambassadors of fun, engaging with Guests from the initial inquiry through the execution of the event, managing scheduling, sales, and logistics with precision and enthusiasm. Your dedication to upholding stringent safety and cleanliness standards reflects the company’s commitment to providing a worry-free and enjoyable environment. This role offers a dynamic work environment where communication, sales, and organizational skills are vital to success. Working closely with Sales Managers, you will help exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business through proactive relationship building and local marketing support. Job Duties

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
  • welcoming and engaging with all Guests, being an ambassador of fun
  • understanding all aspects of event packages and add-ons
  • selling, scheduling and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
  • partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed budgeted sales targets and achieve quarterly sales plans
  • prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships for new and repeat business
  • supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
  • attending and engaging in weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas that support the business
  • performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
