We are currently seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for the Memphis market. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and events, who are eager to learn about food service while engaging with a variety of customers and supporting a broad network of local restaurants. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of Fooda's onsite events by managing setup, breakdown, and customer service to create memorable dining experiences. This position offers flexible part-time hours (20-25 hours per week) with shifts primarily scheduled during normal business hours, allowing work-life balance alongside a steady income. The pay range for this role is competitive, at $21 to $22 per hour.
As an Event Coordinator, you will act as the vital link between Fooda, the partner restaurants, and the end consumers who enjoy meals through our programs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality standards at event sites, troubleshooting operational challenges such as delayed arrivals or order discrepancies, and directly addressing customer concerns onsite. You'll use Fooda's proprietary technology and standard operation protocols to facilitate impeccable event execution and elevate the overall client experience. Job Requirements
- must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- reliable transportation with knowledge of the local territory
- ability to work a flexible part-time schedule 20-25 hours per week including shifts Monday through Friday
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent customer service skills
- hospitality or events background preferred

Job Duties
- support Fooda events in a variety of capacities including being onsite to set-up tear down clean equipment and site areas problem-solve and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
- gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
- problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders late deliveries late restaurant arrivals or incorrect email communication
- provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
- facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
- escalate issues to operations manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
- on-site schedule Monday through Friday 9AM-2PM breakfast shift and Monday through Friday 3PM-8PM evening shift
