Fooda is currently seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for its Memphis market. This role represents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or events who are passionate about food service and enjoy fostering strong relationships with customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Fooda’s food events by ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and adherence to Fooda’s standards. This position offers flexible scheduling during business hours, ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week, with shifts available both in the morning (9 AM - 2 PM) and evening (3 PM - 8 PM). Compensation is competitive, with hourly wages between $21 and $22, and additional benefits including paid time off, a 401k retirement savings plan with company match, and opportunities for career advancement within Fooda.
In this role, the Event Coordinator will be on-site to manage event setup and teardown, maintain equipment and site cleanliness, and promptly handle any issues such as late deliveries or incorrect orders to ensure an excellent customer experience. They will work closely with Fooda’s technology platform and standard operating procedures to build operational competency. The role demands a proactive and resourceful problem solver with strong communication skills to engage with customers directly and efficiently resolve problems as they arise. Additionally, the Event Coordinator will audit restaurant setups to maintain consistency and quality across events and will escalate issues to the Operations Manager when necessary. Candidates should be comfortable navigating the local area independently and possess a friendly, energetic demeanor suited for a fast-paced startup environment. Prior catering or serving experience is strongly preferred to help candidates excel in meeting Fooda’s standards. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities including onsite setup teardown cleaning equipment and site areas problem solve and ensure high quality setup and customer experience
- Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
- Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders late deliveries late restaurant arrivals or incorrect email communication
- Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
- Facilitate audits of restaurant event setup to ensure consistency and high quality
- Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
- Work onsite Monday through Friday 9AM-2PM (Breakfast Shift) and Monday through Friday 3PM-8PM (Evening Shift)
