The current opportunity is for a part-time Event Coordinator based in the Phoenix market. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the flawless execution of Fooda's onsite food events by overseeing setup, operations, troubleshooting, and customer engagement. Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work approximately 27.5 hours per week during business hours
  • Experience in catering or serving strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle physical aspects of event setup and teardown
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hospitality, events, catering, or serving
  • Comfortable using technology in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable car
  • Friendly and energetic personality
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of local Phoenix area preferred

Job Duties

  • Support onsite Fooda events by setting up, tearing down, cleaning equipment and site areas
  • Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés during team absences
  • Coordinate restaurant arrivals and building access
  • Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures
  • Problem-solve issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, or communication errors
  • Troubleshoot technical issues including POS systems and TV menu boards
  • Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
  • Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues
  • Facilitate audits of restaurant event setup to ensure quality and consistency
  • Escalate issues to Operations Manager as needed
  • Work primarily during lunch hours Monday through Friday, with possible extended hours
