The company is driven by a mission to make workplace food experiences something employees genuinely look forward to, enhancing daily work life through quality meals and outstanding service. The concept is simple yet innovative: each Fooda location hosts a different restaurant daily, providing unique chef-curated menus that bring fresh culinary options to busy professionals. This model supports the local food economy and offers employees variety and excitement around their lunch choices. By combining technology with excellent restaurant partnerships, Fooda ensures seamless operations and top-notch customer satisfaction in every market it serves.
Fooda is currently seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for its Los Angeles market. This position offers candidates with a background in hospitality or events a fantastic opportunity to enter the food service world, collaborate with diverse customers, and support a dynamic network of local restaurants. The role involves supporting Fooda's onsite events, from setup and cleanup to problem-solving and maintaining quality standards. Event Coordinators will gain valuable experience working with Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures, contributing to smooth and successful event execution. Expected to be a hands-on role, the coordinator will also provide real-time customer service, handle issues such as late deliveries or incorrect orders, and communicate proactively to ensure superior customer experiences.
The position requires a proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced, startup-style environments and demonstrates organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple sites in a day. The job offers flexibility with part-time hours typically ranging between 15 to 25 hours per week, focusing on both weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Candidates familiar with the Los Angeles area, particularly north of the 10 freeway, are preferred due to the geographical scope of events. Fooda values energetic, friendly personalities who love building relationships and excel at customer service, problem-solving, and using technology efficiently.
This role also offers competitive compensation at $22 per hour, paid time off, and a 401k retirement savings plan with company match. Additionally, employees have access to networking opportunities within the local restaurant industry and the potential for long-term growth and advancement within Fooda. For individuals passionate about food, hospitality, and event coordination, this part-time Event Coordinator role provides a rewarding and engaging career path within an innovative food service company dedicated to improving workplace culture and employee satisfaction through great food experiences.
