Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in event coordination or customer service
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • physical ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and move throughout the store
  • must be able to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • willingness to perform various operational duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects including face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create and implement backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • assist customers in shopping and locating products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with omni-channel services including BOPIS and SFS
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, planogram compliance, and merchandise recovery
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • maintain daily store cleanliness
