Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in event or meeting planning, hospitality, or marketing
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with event management software such as Cvent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and coordinate multiple vendors and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in event or meeting planning, hospitality, or marketing
  • 1-2 years of experience in event software including creating registration websites, email communications, and app setup is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 1+ years of venue and vendor procurement and negotiation is preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with planning and executing in-person events including trainings, conferences, leadership programs, and offsite activities
  • Facilitate and coordinate logistics for events at the Aprio Atlanta office including reserving conference rooms, managing L&D calendar, catering, audiovisual, signage, and serve as primary on-site contact
  • Manage and track event budgets and expenses to maintain cost efficiency
  • Use Cvent to create registration websites, manage registration, and build event apps to ensure accurate data and attendee engagement
  • Liaise with hotel partners, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Oversee production and shipping of event supplies to support on-site execution
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and report on outcomes and improvements
  • Partner with learning program managers and other stakeholders to understand event needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Create and maintain event logistic templates and share best practices across Aprio
