The Sales Event Coordinator role at Main Event is pivotal in ensuring guests create unforgettable memories through tailored event experiences. As a Sales Event Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of guest interaction, working closely with customers to understand their needs and architect personalized event packages that emphasize fun and engagement. This role is designed for individuals passionate about sales and relationship-building, with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction. The position involves proactive outreach including prospecting and cold calling to cultivate new business opportunities, as well as supporting local marketing initiatives to increase event bookings and walk-in sales. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager to meet and exceed sales targets, playing a strategic role in the growth and success of the entertainment center’s event sales.

The job requires a proficient understanding of various event packages and add-ons available at Main Event, along with the ability to use software systems such as CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Excel to manage sales data, guest information, and follow-up tasks efficiently. Daily duties involve coordinating and scheduling diverse events including corporate gatherings, group activities, and memorable birthday celebrations. The Sales Event Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining operational standards by participating in opening, mid-day, or closing office duties, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld throughout the venue.

Job Duties

  • Understanding all aspects of event packages and add-ons
  • Selling, scheduling, and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • Utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
  • Partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and achieve quarterly plans
  • Prospecting and cold calling to develop new and repeat business
  • Supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive sales
  • Attending weekly sales meetings and performing opening, mid-day, or closing office duties including safety and cleanliness
