Job Requirements
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Events management experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work 8-hour shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as event coordinator
- A proven track record of organizing successful events
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent vendor management skills
- Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Able to handle stress and remain calm
- Problem-solving ability
- Must be able to work with all personality types
Job Duties
- Understand requirements for each event
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Supervise staff and kitchen
- Manage all event operations including preparing the week of and scheduling staff
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
- Data entry
- Interview new employees
